On Thursday night's (March 17) 'American Idol' results show, Ryan Seacrest teased that the winner of this season could soon go head-to-head on the charts with the Black Eyed Peas, who hit the stage to perform their new single, 'Just Can't Get Enough,' for the first time.

'This song is about love and strength and is dedicated to our friends in Japan,' will.i.am said from behind a piano before the dance track kicked in.

Fergie opened the song, sitting atop the all-white piano and wearing a white halter dress, singing the first few notes of the new track. Eventually will, dressed in a white suit, stood up from behind the piano and joined her onstage to sing, while the other Peas members, apl.de.ap and Taboo, also dressed in white, danced, sang and rapped alongside them.

Behind them onstage, string players performed, dancers twirled about and couples acted out skits. They ended the performance by jumping around and encouraging the audience to leap to their feet and clap along.

BEP have been doing their best to help relief efforts in Japan. The song's video, which premiered on Wednesday, was also dedicated to the embattled island nation, where the group shot the clip just one week before the earthquake and tsunami struck. At the beginning of the video, this message runs across the screen: 'Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of Japan. We love you.'

This wasn't the first 'American Idol' appearance for the Black Eyed Peas."

Sunday PST Lyoto vs Mauricio in UFC 104

So Sunday will be yet another new match for Lyoto Machida and Mauricio Rua in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). They will be fighting I guess for the light heavyweight division but I am not so sure if Machida is putting at stake his championship belt as the undefeated fighter and undisputed champion.

Today is already Thursday here and although the fight is scheduled on Saturday in Staples Center Arena in Los Angeles California, here in my country, I will be watching the match by Sunday, the equivalent Pacific Standard Time of the UFC 104 live stream - http://www.internetphilippines.com/philippine-sports/ufc/ufc-104-live-streaming-machida-vs-shogun/ fight.

We are currently subscribing for Balls cable tv so we could all watch this coming weekend, the fight between this two great UFC fighters. I hope though that my idol Lyoto Machida will win and catch up on his unblemished record. Good luck to both fighters especially Lyoto.

Fergie to perform free for Final Four

Pop star Fergie, hard-rock band Staind and melodic singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw will lead a lineup of national and local artists in a free series of concerts on the riverfront April 3-5, the NCAA will announce today.

They're part of the Big Dance, the entertainment component of the annual college basketball championship, which will be played up the road at Ford Field. The two semifinal games on April 4 will be shown on a giant video screen at the outdoor fest.

Also on the bill are dance-pop group Pussycat Dolls and colorful rappers Gym Class Heroes. "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest will emcee the April 5 show.

Additional music acts will be announced in coming days, said Jon Witz, local producer for the NCAA-run event. They'll include about 40 local artists playing on two stages -- a first for the event.

The Big Dance is among a flurry of Final Four-affiliated activities scheduled for that weekend, including NCAA Hoop City, an interactive sports fest at Cobo Center.

The concerts will give Detroit another taste of the party hoopla that descended on the city in 2006, when the Super Bowl drew an array of celebrities and shows. All 72,000 tickets for the Ford Field games are long sold out.

"This is a way to enjoy a big-time event without necessarily having a ticket to the game," said Witz.
This is the seventh year for the Big Dance, which has featured such performers as Taylor Swift, Kid Rock and Ludacris.
